SUMMER FELLOWSHIPS 2024
NXG DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
In 2024, the Della Penna Foundation is offering a karting scholarship to a high school girl for the development program organized by NXG Youth Motorsports. The NXG Development program consists of five sessions starting June 8th and finishing with a race September 28th, 2024. It uses the fundamentals of go-kart driving to teach life skills and build confidence. Eligibility requirements are a minimum of 10 years and 9 months old, maximum 15 years old, proficient in 5th grade math and English. They may not hold a driver's license of any kind. Due to equipment constraints, participants must be a minimum of 4’8” and a maximum of 5’-10.” The weight limits are a minimum of 75 lbs. and a maximum of 165 lbs.

Applications are open May 13th - May 25th, 2024. Applicants will be informed of the decision by May 30th, and must be available for all the races as well as a couple of classroom sessions.
MICHAEL ANDRETTI FOUNDATION & GEORGE4 FOUNDATION
This summer, the Della Penna Foundation in association with th Michael Andretti Foundation and the George4 Foundation is offering a fellowship to a high school girl from the Indianapolis area. The fellowship will provide the opportunity for a high school girl to shadow Julia Steinbrenner, Marissa Andretti and the women in their organizations for a week to learn all about careers in motorsports.

The fellowship will be Monday - Friday at their offices June 24th - June 28th, 2024.
Deadline for applying to the fellowships is May 31st, 2024.
Applicants will be informed of the decision by June 7th, 2024.
